Julia Rose Runyon, 69

            Muncie – Julia R. (McDaniel) Runyon, 69, Muncie, passed away Monday morning, December 21, 2015.

            She was born May 22, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of the late James and Avis McDaniel.

            Julia loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was an avid collector of beanie babies and porcelain dolls; she also loved to shop and gossip on the telephone.

            Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Thomas, (husband-Dewey II); Julie Runyon, (Shane); two sons, Sonny Runyon, (wife Teri); Chris Runyon, (wife Julie); several brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her partner in crime, Teresa Hinds; and special friend, Laura Daniels.

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Runyon; son, Tim Runyon; parents, James and Avis McDaniel; granddaughter, Sarah Runyon; and a grandson, Joseph Thomas Stellwag.

            Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating.

            Calling will be at the mortuary from 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service.

            Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
