Katina Nelson Martin, the daughter of Willie and Marsha Nelson, was born on January 25, 1973, in Muncie, IN. Katina cherished her husband Tony H. Martin Jr., and daughters Sha'Nyla and Tayonna Martin.
Katina attended South Side High (Muncie), Higher education: University of Pheonix. She was hard-working. Katina worked for the Marion County Juvenile from late 1999 until 2006, she also worked at Martin Brightwood Health Clinic from 2006 until the lord called her home.
Katina enjoyed cooking, movies, traveling and loved going to the amusement parks (she would ride everything). She also loved spending time with all her relatives and friends. Katina was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Katina had a special place in her heart for her family.
Katina Nelson Martin departed this earthly life on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the age of 50. She was preceded in death by her sister Kim Nelson, and nephew Josh.
Katina married Tony Martin Jr. May 21, 2016 and will be remembered by their two daughters.
Katina leaves precious memories to be cherished by her parents: Marsha and Willie Nelson; Husband: Tony Martin Jr.; Daughters: Sha'Nyla and Tayonna Martin; brothers: Tyrone (Barb), Kevin (Lori) and Kudu Johnson; Sisters: Brianna and Autumn; Brother-in-law: Dennis J. Jones Jr. (Natasha); Mother-in-law:Vickie Beeler Jewell (Johnny), and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
