Keith Franklin Shores

Keith Franklin Shores, 53, unexpectedly passed away on May 19, 2026, at his Muncie, Indiana, home.  Keith was born on March 8, 1973, in Muncie, the son of Dale Shores and Sarah “Sally” Skeen-Bales.

Keith graduated from Muncie Southside High School, where he participated in both football and wrestling.  Keith went on to work in the trucking industry for nearly 25 years and served as a supervisor at Eagle Express Lines in Indianapolis.

He was a kind-hearted and jolly man who loved spending time with his family.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his two sons, Austin and Evan.  In his spare time, Keith enjoyed watching television and was an avid NASCAR fan. 

Keith leaves behind his two sons, Austin Shores (Melanie) and Evan Shores, his father, Dale Shores (Patrice), siblings, Kevin Shores (Dani), Maria Shores and Matthew Shores (Rochelle), and his nephews, Michael Shores, Paul Shores, Josh Shores, Nathaniel Shores, Jacob Shores, Charles Hobbs, Aidan Shores, Carter Shores, a niece, Madison Shores, and his best friend, Jeremy Perry.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah “Sally” Skeen-Bales, and his grandparents, Paul and Thelma Shores.

Keith will be cremated with no formal services.
