Kenneth Hitt, 71, passed away at IU Ball Memorial Hospital on Saturday, December 27, 2025, after a short illness.

He was born May 15, 1954, in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Coble) Hitt.  He graduated from John Burroughs High School in Burbank, California.  In 1995, Kenny moved from Fresno, California, to Muncie to be closer to his Indiana siblings.

He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Thomas (David), Lynn Whitten, Burbank, California, a brother, Michael Hitt (Wanda), and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Keith Hitt.  Cremation will take place, and his final resting place will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills, California.

Parson Mortuary of Muncie is in charge of the arrangements.
