Kent Allen Brammer, 72, passed away at his Muncie, Indiana, home from a sudden illness, on January 10, 2025. Kent was born on February 25, 1952, the son of Richard and Betty Brammer.
Following graduation from Muncie Central High School, Kent went on to work at Indiana Steel and Wire until their closing. He then worked for and retired from Spartech Plastics. While being known as a hard worker, Kent loved being retired also. He would say he always had something to do, between his chores and his dogs, which he walked everyday through Minnetrista.
Kent was always the life of the party, he loved having fun, listening to music on YouTube, watching NASCAR (before all the changes), and going to concerts of every kind. When it came to his music, there was no genre that was excluded. He would often make lists of songs from YouTube and replay the songs later.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Cathy Brammer, daughters Tiffani Offringa, Kayly Sabo (Shawn), and Amber Dearduff, grandson, Brentton Offringa, sister, Jayne Bosserman (Damon), and special friends, Tylor Strebel, and Joe Lunkens, and of course, his two dogs, Marley and Ms. Phoebe.
Kent was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Brammer.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
