It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Blake Davis, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
Born on November 27, 1966, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Richard James Davis and Etta Faye (Richard) Wine, who survives him. Kevin was a devoted husband to Naomi “Rhoda” Davis for 32 years. Together, they raised four beautiful children Amber (Ralph) Kendall, Autumn (Austin Shannon) Davis, J. Samuel Davis, and Kevalina (Caleb) Hines. Kevin is also survived by a brother, Rick Davis, and a sister, Janet (Chad) Stilts, along with several nieces and nephews.
Kevin lived his "good life" by pursuing his passions, with family at the core. His love radiated through frequent phone calls, wise guidance, and treasured moments with loved ones. As a successful entrepreneur, he skillfully transformed his hobby into a thriving career, utilizing his God-given talents.
Known for his extraordinary ability to connect with others, Kevin had a gift for making strangers feel like friends and friends feel like family. His greatest joy came from spending quality time with his wife and children, who were his pride and joy. Kevin’s unwavering faith and deep belief in prayer were the cornerstones of his life, guided by the words of Joshua 24:15: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his gentle spirit, timeless wisdom, and the profound impact he had on all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams Street, Muncie. Friends will be received at 12:30 p.m., and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
