Kevin Tyler Whitted, 33, passed away at the IU Health Jay Hospital on November 20, 2023.  Tyler was born May 2, 1990, the son of Kevin M. Whitted and Jackie Reum.  He graduated from Muncie Central High School and was most recently employed by Tyson Foods in Portland, Indiana.

Tyler loved his family more than anything, especially his three sons.  He was always a dad first, and spending time with them was his favorite thing to do.  Tyler never met a stranger in life, he had a huge heart and if he loved you, he loved you forever.  He loved sports and could play any sport that had a ball.  He also loved music, dancing, and making you laugh.  Tyler was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Tyler is survived by his three sons, Logan, Landen, and Kolton; father Kevin M. Whitted (Jan); mother Jackie Reum; sister, Lacey Whitted (Dustin); brother, Scott Crose (Courtney), Nephews Aydin, and Braylon, Bentley, Ryan, Mitchell, and Jaxson, and one niece, Wrenlee.  In addition, he leaves behind several cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carol Fisher, Fred Lephart, and Virgina and Orville Whitted, as well as an uncle, Scott Neargarder.

Services will be held on November 28, 2023, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana, at 6:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.  Cremation will follow the service.
