Graveside services celebrating the life of Larry “RED” Joe Bronnenberg will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the Tomlinson Cemetery 5301 South State Road 67 Muncie, Indiana. Officiating will be Bro. Larry Waters, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, Muncie, Indiana.
Larry was born on Saturday, May 11, 1946 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 74.
Those left to cherish his memories include 36 wonderful years and love of his life his wife Sheryl Bowlin Bronnenberg, three children that he loved deeply, Debra Lampton, husband, Gary, James Bronnenberg, wife, Amber, Amanda Whiles, husband, Brandon, 11 grandchildren, Josh Clark, Harley Lampton, Justin Bronnenberg, Jessica McCarthy, Jordyn Bronnenberg, Wyatt Kindrick, Alayna Jo Hibbs, Jaxon Whiles, Jayce Hibbs, Madison Hibbs, Kynlee Whiles, 2 great grandchildren, Saige Clark, Lexie Clark, 3 sisters, Patty Bronnenberg, Kristie Castle, Barbara Wallen, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Those preceded him death are his father, Claude Bronnenberg, mother, Effie Burris Bronnenberg, one brother, Claude T. Bronnenberg, and one sister, Kathy Bronnenberg.
Larry known as “RED” to everyone that knew him was a member of the West Side United Baptist Church of Muncie, worked for General Motors for 20 years. While working for General Motors after he would get off work, he would go to a job site and work on building houses in the community. Wood working was his passion, he loved to build furniture, houses and what ever else came to his mind, his family was the most important to him he would call his children everyday and ask them if they needed anything, if they were ok, and to tell each one of them that he loved them very much, which made him the best father ever could be, loving his wife and his best friend like he did says it all too, camping in the RV and fishing, hunting he loved to do also, to describe Larry known as “RED” was a simple man and full of LOVE for his wife and children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, his grandchildren was his world also, loving and spoiling them and spending time with them, he also enjoyed doing. He will be deeply missed by all!
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Bronnenberg, Mark Bowlin, Brandon Whiles, Matt Hill, Dennis Hill, and Jeff Crabtree.
