Larry Wayne Massie, age 75, of Losantville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 12, 1950, in Marion, Indiana, to Clarence and Edith (Biggs) Massie.

Larry was a man of deep faith, unwavering integrity, and generous love. Full Gospel Temple was the center of his heart and life, where he faithfully served as a church leader for 25 years. His dedication to God, his church family, and others was immense and evident in all he did.

Larry proudly worked for the United States Postal Service for 44 years, retiring as a plant manager. Beyond his career, he spent 23 years as a camp counselor, treasured time camping with his children, and loved bowling. He especially enjoyed helping the Amish with produce auctions, transporting produce, and serving wherever help was needed.

Family meant everything to Larry. He loved going out to eat, watching movies with his wife, traveling with family—especially their cherished trips to Gatlinburg—and simply being surrounded by his grandchildren. He was known as a trustworthy, loving, and generous man whose kindness touched everyone who knew him.

Larry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen Massie; his children, Lori Sumwalt (Allen), Erin Fields (Kelly), and Ryan Massie (Colbie Pittman); 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and his beloved goldendoodle, Parker. He is also survived by his siblings, Beverly Garrett (Leon), Dan Massie, Ronald Massie, and Judith Barnes; sister-in-law Shari Massie; along with many special friends and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings James Massie (Shari), Arthur Biggs, and Connie Massie (Ron); his mother- and father-in-law Kathryn Wilson-Singer and Charles E. Wilson; stepfather-in-law Donald Singer; and son-in-law James Aaron Vlaskamp.

Memorial contributions may be made to Full Gospel Temple toward the new youth building for the children.

Funeral services will be held at Full Gospel Temple on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service.
