We are deeply saddened by the passing of our father Larry A. May on April 26th, 2026. Larry was born July 17, 1946, to Arthur O'Dell and Margaret May. Larry retired from Borg Warner where he worked in the Trucking division. He was a man of many talents including riding dirt bikes, auto mechanics, bass fishing, plumbing, construction, playing Yahtzee (He was the luckiest person I have ever seen in my life!) and cabinetry. His love and knowledge of all things will be missed but not forgotten as he passed knowledge onto us that can never be forgotten. His presence and knowledge will help us navigate the ever-changing journey that we must now endure without him. We will struggle without him, but will use the morals, ethics and knowledge he instilled in us to thrive in the road ahead. RIP Dad we love and miss you whole bunches!!!
Larry was preceded in death by his wife and partner of 60 years, Sarah Elizabeth May, Father Arthur May, Mother Margaret (Armstrong) May, Stepmother Virginia Ryder, Sister Ruth Jackson, and his beloved Kitty Casey Jones.
Larry is survived by his children Anthony S. May (Jen) and Tonya J. May (Shannie), Brother Mark May, sister and brother-in-law Anne and John Williams, Grandchildren Jordan May (Ashley), Caylie May (Tim), Kaden Vlaskamp, Hannah Burris (Ari), and Maygen Burris (Dustin), Nephew Thomas Jackson, and Great grandchildren Shaylene and Daniel May. There will be no services at his request. We will have a celebration of life at a later undetermined date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to A.R.F. (Animal Rescue Fund) at 1209 W. Riggin Rd., Muncie, In. 47303 and phone 765-282-2733, if so desired.
