Leon Edward Morgan

Funeral services for Leon Edward Morgan will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center 801 West Adams Street, Muncie Indiana with Pastor Denny Helton officiating.

Visitation for friends will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Leon Edward Morgan 65 of Muncie was born on Saturday August 13, 1955 and passed away from this life on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in Muncie, Indiana He is the son of Virgil and Marie Morgan Sr.  He and his brother worked at carnivals and fairs, and was a painter for over 20 years with Ogle Painting before retirement. He was a graduate of the class of 1974 from Daleville High School.

Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Brad Morgan and wife Holly, of Selma, Indiana, grandchildren, Daxton and Bailey Morgan of Muncie, Abigail Cross, sisters, Brenda Said (husband Larry), Mary Morgan (husband Sam Tilly), two special nieces, whom he lived with, Laurah West of Muncie, Jackie Harrington of Red Key, brother-in-law, Earnest Smith of Toledo Ohio.  In addition, he leaves several nieces, nephews, and cousins by his adopted and biological family side, as well as previous wives Shonda Dossett, and Cindy Morgan.

He is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Marie Morgan Sr., wife, Melinda Morgan, siblings, three sisters, Lavada Wooten, Elanora Smith, Annette Spoonemore, three brothers, Melvin Morgan, Virgil Morgan, Jr., Dennis Morgan, as well as his biological mother and brother, Carolyn Wolfe and Johnny Wolfe.

Leon loved to watch the Indianapolis Colts play football and was a huge Ball State Cardinal fan also.  He loved to watch them play football, basketball, and baseball, cheering them on as he watched the games. Leon was also an avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed seeing who would win the next race. Leon was a free- spirited man and cherished his freedom. He will be missed by all.
