Leslie “Les” G. Lange, 77, left this life early Saturday evening, October 28, 2023, at Bethel Point Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was born on May 15, 1946, in Muncie the son of Herman Charles and Clara M. (Wandell) Lange.
Les graduated from Eaton Jr. Sr. High School in 1964 and eventually went on to work for Delco Battery in the Utility Department. Mr. Lange is a Past President of the Muncie Jcs, the Order of the Moose Lodge, and the United Auto Workers Union. When he was younger, he enjoyed fishing, wooden ships, and bowling when he was able to.
Survivors include his two children, Shelley Bratjan (Jeffery), Muncie and Scott Lange (Christie Olafusilange), Peachtree Corners, Georgia; two grandchildren, Finn (Sierra) Alm, Lafayette and Ariel Neal (Austin Kissick), Muncie; one great-grandson, Carter Kissick, Muncie; one brother, Lee Lange (Leti), Senora, Mexico; one nephew and two nieces; several step-children and step-grandchildren; Life long friend, Ken Beaty.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Adam Flowers in 1995, his parents, and one brother, Larry Lange.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Private burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie at a later date.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from noon until the time of the service.
