Linda J. (Cox) Caldwell

Linda Caldwell passed away June 16, 2020 at I. U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Linda was born on Tuesday May 13, 1947 in Muncie the daughter of Dorothy (Cox) Swearingin. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw, sudoku puzzles and games of all kinds. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother who became a Certified Nursing assistant to support her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin Bell; sons, David W. Caldwell, Dennis L. (Rose) Caldwell, Daniel G. (Nikki) Caldwell; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda J. (William) Worthington, Bernice L. Igleheart and several nieces and nephews.

Her mother Dorothy, grandmother Thelma I. Dotson; husband, Marion I. Caldwell, grandson James M. Caldwell; brothers, Shelby G. Lashley, Roy L. Lashley, brother-in law William Russell, niece Cindy Mae Jackson, brothers-in-law Ora “Bud” Caldwell, John W. Caldwell and sister-in-law Alice M. Tackett preceded Linda in passing.

Memorial services will be held at a later time.
