Linda Darlene Funk, 46, passed away on March 27, 2024, after a lengthy and difficult illness.  She was born on April 8, 1977, the daughter of Dale and Debbie Bailey.  She graduated from Muncie Southside High School and spent most of her adult life as a “domestic engineer.”

Linda had a strong and absolute love for her family, especially her children, Myra Anne and Nathan Brannon.  She was described by her family as a person who was always willing to help those in need, even at times offering a safe harbor in her home with her husband Tony.  She was always true to her family and was a “darn good cook.”

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband, Tony J. Funk, daughter, Myra Anne Brannon, son, Nathan Brannon, granddaughter, Ivanna Marie Brannon, parents Dale and Debbie Bailey, sisters, Heather Bailey and Victoria Waters, as well as several uncles, aunts and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Carrie Anne Bailey.

Cremation will be completed by Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, with no formal services.
