Linda Glidden

Linda F. Glidden, age 74, of Muncie, Indiana, was welcomed into the kingdom of Heaven in the comfort of her home on Saturday, December 26, 2020, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, 800 West Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana.

Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on February 1, 1946.  She retired from Eminence Community Schools as a kindergarten teacher.  

Linda attended Middletown United Methodist Church in Middleton, Indiana.  She had a deep devotion to Jesus Christ and enjoyed sharing her faith with others through missions’ work and numerous ministries.  She enjoyed music, motorcycling, square dancing, camping and woodburning as well.  

Linda leaves behind a loving family including her husband, James A. Glidden of Muncie, whom she married March 27, 1993; one sister, Nova Leonard Dennison of Grand Blanc, MI; one daughter, Virginia L. (Jason) Blosser of Corona de Tucson, AZ; five sons, Robert B. (Sharon) Carrell of Cumberland, IN; Thomas N. (Sabrina) Glidden of Hartford City, IN; Tim (Patty) Glidden of Daleville, IN; Ted J. (Catherine) Glidden of Romeoville, IL; Terry A. (Melissa) Glidden of Albany, IN; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Brice and Gertrude Sells and brother, Learoy Brice Sells.
