Linda Kay Shaneyfelt, 80, Winchester, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 1, 2020 at IU Health Ball memorial Hospital.
She was born April 23, 1940 in Winchester, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edward and Marjorie (Harold) Monk. Linda spent her entire life in Winchester and was a retiree of Anchor Hocking Glass where she worked in the lab.
She is survived by two daughters, Tracy Blackford and Jerri Taylor, (husband Steve); seven grandchildren, Brandi Gastineau, (husband Brad); Amber Grasse; Heather Sells, (husband Shay); Emily Day, (husband Shawn); Dustin Harding; Lynzee Ford, (husband Gene); and Tyler Cochran, (Kyndra); one brother, Jackie Monk; one sister, Kim Tulk; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Cat-Eye” Shaneyfelt; infant daughter, Kim Flanagan; son, Robert Shaneyfelt; daughter, Candice Shaneyfelt; and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 7, 2020 with Pastor Kyle Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.
Calling will be at the mortuary from 9:00 a.m. on Monday until the time of service.
