Mable E. Williamson, 91, entered into her heavenly home, following a long illness, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Westminster Village Muncie.

Mable was born May 15, 1934, to Oby and Delilah (Craig) Blevins of Jamestown, TN.

She married her husband of 41 years, Foy R. (Trece) Williamson, on December 24, 1959.  They remained happily married until his passing in April, 2001. 

Mable graduated from York Agricultural Institute of Jamestown, in 1951. She then completed an Associate Degree at Draughon's Business College, in Nashville, TN.  Following her return to Jamestown, she worked as an elementary teacher for a small one-room school in the Alticrest Community.  She later worked in the Payroll Department of the Colonial Shirt Factory in Jamestown.  After getting married and moving to Muncie in 1959, Mable was primarily a homemaker, but she also assisted her brother (Howard Blevins) with interior finishing and bookkeeping, in his custom home business, for many years. Mable retired,  after the birth of her grandchildren, to become a full-time grandma.

 She was a faithful member of True Light Baptist Church in Muncie, IN; she loved her church and considered the congregation to be extended family. She was always quick to share her faith with family, friends, and strangers, alike.  Mable loved her Lord, and shared her testimony of his love whenever an opportunity arose.

Mable is survived by her daughters, Teresa Lindley (Dale) and Rhonda Clark, both of Muncie, IN; her grandchildren, Tiffany Clark of Carmel, and Olivia Clark of Muncie; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.  

Mable was the last remaining member from her large family of 9 siblings. Preceding her in death are her husband, her parents;  5 brothers:  Bruss Blevins, Levi Blevins, James H. (Howard) Blevins, France Blevins, and Chandin (Hall) Blevins; 3 sisters:  Haze Blevins, Rosa Judd, and Beulah Terry. 

Mable's Funeral service will be held at Parson Mortuary, Adams Chapel,  on Thursday, April 30, 2026.  Service will begin at 1:00 PM, with Reverends Jason Trimble and Dennis Trimble officiating.  Family and friends may call 2 hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.  Following the service and short graveside remarks, burial will take place at Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie.
