Madisyn Ann Workman, 16, passed away at her Muncie, Indiana, residence on August 7, 2025, following a brief illness.  Madisyn was born on February 11, 2009, in Muncie, Indiana, to Michael Workman and Christy Jones.

Madisyn was currently a sophomore at Muncie Central High School, where she had a passion for the ROTC program.  Madisyn was a young woman who was full of pride, love, and energy.  She loved spending time with her friends and family.  She had a special talent for doing makeup and styling hair, and had dreamed of becoming a beautician.

Her greatest joy and love were for her family.  She enjoyed spending time with them and was eagerly awaiting the birth of her soon-to-be-born sister, Alyvia-Ann, whom she had named. 

The loss of Madisyn will be felt by many, including her dad, Michael Workman, sister, Rhianna Jones, grandfathers, Charles Workman and Jerry Jones, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Christy Jones, and her grandmothers, Anita Workman and Lisa Jones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.  Burial will take place at Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.

In honor of Madisyn, let her spirit and love continue to shine on through her friends and family.
