Marc Vaught Obituary

Marc Vaught, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on June 18, 2026, surrounded by his family. Marc was born in Muncie, Indiana, on September 1, 1956, to the late John Milton Vaught and Jo Ann (Leffingwell) Morrow. He lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved.

Marc is survived by his wife of 39 years, Beverly (Geer) Vaught “Pup”. Also surviving are his two children, Matthew Vaught and Leslie Vaught (Edward Wiley – fiancé); his mother, Jo Ann Morrow; his brothers, Bruce Vaught (Judy) and John Vaught (Renea); and his sister, Tammie Ross. Marc leaves behind six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Marc loved his job at ElectriCom LLC, where he served as Manager of the Warehouse and Fleet. He took great pride in his work and valued the friendships he built there. Marc retired from ElectriCom in January 2025 after years of dedicated service.

Marc had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a laugh and a smile that was contagious. He was a dedicated and loving husband and was devoted to his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Vaught; his step-father, Edwin Morrow; and a sister, Judy Parr.

Marc’s family would like to express their deep appreciation to the Redcrest Hospice nurses, social worker, and chaplain, whose kindness, guidance, and gentle care brought comfort to Marc and to all of us during his illness.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
