Margaret married the love of her life Thomas Bilger on 12/10/1972 in Hamilton, OH. Margaret and Tom met while working at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. They spent their lives together raising their family, working, serving their church and contributing to the community. They had two children, Katherine and Zachary who were born when Thomas and Margaret lived in Cumberland,  Maryland where Tom worked as the Registrar at Frostburg State College. After 9 years in Cumberland, the couple moved to Muncie, Indiana where they would raise their children and spend their lives together while Tom worked as the Registrar at Ball State University. Margaret stayed at home and raised Katy and Zach and spent 35 years working in childcare for several local families. She loved children and touched many lives during her career caring for children. Margaret and Tom were members of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Muncie. Margaret worked in many roles for the church and volunteered any free time she had to serve the church in any way she could.

She also spent several years working at Emens Auditorium. After moving to Pendleton, Margaret loved spending time playing with her grandchildren, reading, doing puzzles, playing with her cats, taking walks, and any sort of yard work she could do. Margaret was a grateful woman who loved her family and wasted no time thinking of material things or possessions. She truly appreciated all of God's creations. Her surviving family members are mourning and missing her greatly. Her God and her beloved family in Heaven are welcoming her to everlasting life.
