Marilyn Louise Chambers, born June 10, 1963, passed away April 18th, 2025 surrounded by love and family.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Ray Chambers, the daughter of Evelyn Fern Conner and Robert L. Fisher, and was also blessed with the presence of bonus parents, Louise Harty and Clifford Conner, who each played a meaningful role in her life.

Marilyn was one of five siblings. She is preceded in death by her brother John L. Fisher& RL Fisher. She is survived by her brother Jimmy Rigsby (Carol) and her sister Marie Fisher.

She leaves behind her children, Dennis Trosper II (DeJai), Chad Trosper, and Chris Trosper—each of whom carry pieces of her strength and spirit. 

Marilyn was a Mamaw to Keaton, Dennis III, Corbin,  Hailey, Domanik, and Diamond, and a great-grandma to little Xenia “Nia.” Her impact also reached into the lives of several foster grandchildren and a large extended family of nieces and nephews.

Marilyn lived a life marked by resilience. She wasn’t one to sugarcoat life, but she was present, and she was real. Her love was shown more in action than in words. She had her ways, and they were uniquely hers—but those who truly knew her understood that beneath the tough exterior was a woman who cared deeply in her own way.

Funeral services will be on Saturday April 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call on the family from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM the day of the service. 

A private burial will take place at a later date at Beech Grove Cemetery.
