Marilyn J. Stidham Revis, 93, went to her heavenly home early Friday morning, May 3, 2024, at her residence following a brief illness.  She was born on Mar 25, 1931, in Lynn, Indiana the daughter of Lester William and Verna Mae (Skinner) Schell.

Marilyn graduated from Lynn High School in 1949 and married her first husband William Stidham and who preceded her in death and then married her second husband Wayne M. Revis who has since also preceded her in death.  Mrs. Revis worked for the Ross Hardware Store as an Assistant Manager having served them for 29 years before her retirement in 1997.  She was a member of the Corinth United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing Euchre at the Senior Center, and enjoyed gardening, reading historical novels and nature magazines and nature television programs.

Survivors include four daughters, Marieanne Barton (Tom Dulhanty), Selma, Amy Hutchison (Larry), Cynthia Morris, and Sally Monroe (James), all of Muncie; one stepson, Marty Revis (Judy), Noblesville; three stepdaughters, Madelyn Atwell and Maria Brennan, both of Bradenton, Florida; several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides two husbands she was also preceded in death by three daughters, Nancy K. Stidham, Ava Rose Stidham, and Angela Henry and husband Michael, one son “Ted” William Edward Stidlham II, one step-daughter, Marsh Hudson, son-in-law, Sammy Morris, two brothers, Lester Schell, Jr. and Larry Schell, three grandchildren Justin Stidham, Dale Hutchison and Samantha Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Parson Mortuary at noon with Pastor Chris Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, Indiana.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
