Marilyn Jayne Schneider, 85, of, Indiana passed away on December 4, 2024, at Bethel Pointe Health and Rehab.  She was born on May 26, 1939, in Muncie, Indiana to James and Mary (Michaels) Youngblood.

Marilyn attended High Street and Bethel Church. She was creative with her painting, and sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren the most. In her younger years, she would take bus trips with family and travel often. 

Marilyn is survived by her children; Sharon Barr (Jim), Dewayne Schneider (Cindy), Joe Schneider (Cinda), grandchildren; Dewayne II, Harvey (Hannah), and Janena (Craig) all from Benson, NC, Nicholas (Brittany), Travis (Lauren), and Emma (Tevin), great-grandchildren; Dewayne III, Harvey II, Anthony, Analeigh, Kayleigh, Sadie, and Landry, siblings; Kenneth Youngblood (Viva), Sandra Dudley, Larry Youngblood (Callie), and Debra Tookolo (Bill), along with several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Schneider, siblings; Michael (Mick) Youngblood, and Jack Short. 

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Friday, December 13, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
