It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Stephen Rogers, who passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2025, at the age of 69. He was born on October 27, 1955, in Muncie, Indiana, to Arnold Rogers and Loretta "Rita" (Patterson) Rogers, who instilled in him a love of family, kindness, and a strong work ethic. 

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Mark touched the lives of all who knew him. He was known for his kind heart, sharp sense of humor, and unwavering generosity, and he will be deeply missed by those who loved him. 

Mark enjoyed a long and fulfilling career and proudly retired from General Motors. Throughout his life, he was passionate about the outdoors, hunting mushrooms and deer hunting, he loved his family the most and spending as much time as he could with them. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara (Barton) Rogers, children; Jason Rogers (Erin), Karessa Sanders (Nathan), Mark Rogers (Abbi), Trisha Hyso (Steve), Misha Honaker (Jeremy), grandchildren; Allison, Andais, Ryker, Ophelia, Emma, Ava, sister Diana Thornbro (Philip), nephew Aaron Rogers (Amanda), and niece Brooke Rogers, along with his mother-in-law Linda Barton. 

He is preceded in death by his father Arnold Rogers, mother Loretta (Patterson) Rogers, 2 brothers; Arnold Jr., and Bruce and nephew Bruce Keith. 

Funeral services will be held on March 1, 2025, at Parson Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m until service time at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynda Richey will be officiating.
