Mark Allan Wages, 69, left this life Sunday evening, January 14, 2024, at The Waters Edge Village Health Care Center.  He was born on September 24, 1954, in Muncie the son of Harold and Carolyn Sue Wages Sr.

Mark graduated from Yorktown High School in 1972 and later obtained his Master's Degree He eventually married the love of his life, Consuela “Connie” (Vista) Wages on December 28, 2020, in Muncie and she survives.  Mr. Wages was a professor of Art at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.  He was an Indiana State Teacher’s Association member and enjoyed watching television.

Besides his wife of four years, Connie, he is also survived by, his son, Benjamin Wages, Canada; one stepdaughter, Maria Eladia (J.R.), Muncie; one brother, Harold Wages, Jr. (Ellen), Indianapolis; one brother-in-law, Minister Ricky Adams, Muncie; one sister-in-law, Conchita Murphy (James), Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
