Marlena Ann Stegall, 76, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at Sugar Fork Crossing in Anderson, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Marlena was born June 19, 1949, in Muncie to Basil and Elizabeth (Clark) Davis. Marlena was known for her generous heart, warm spirit, and deep devotion to family, church, and community.
She found joy in simple acts of kindness, cooking hearty meals for loved ones, and tending to her flowers. Marlena was a longtime member of River of Life Church, where she was always willing to lend a hand, especially in preparing meals for church events and funerals. Her salads were a favorite, and her welcoming kitchen was always a place of comfort and love.
Marlena treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she especially loved spending time with her dear friends Linda, Carolyn, and Toni. 
She is survived by her children, Audrey Doerner (John), Sylvia Elliott (Daniel), and Shane Stegall; grandchildren, Brandon (Whitney), Alexandra, Kara, Hailey, and William Doerner; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Malachi. She is also survived by her siblings, Thomas Davis (Penny) and Martha Brinson (David), as well as several nieces and nephews.
Marlena was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest E. Stegall; daughter, Darlena Stegall; her parents; and siblings Betty Jean Davis and Basil Davis Jr.
Family and friends may visit Parson Mortuary on July 31, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at River of Life Church on August 1, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.
