Marvin James Mock, 90, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Yorktown Manor in Yorktown, Indiana. He was born in Delaware County on October 16, 1935, the son of Earl and Doris (Starbuck) Mock. He graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1953.
He worked at Warner Machine Products, Ontario Forge, and retired from Aeroforge Corp. in 1996.
He was a long-time member of the Crestview Golf Club and was also a member of the Moose Lodge #33 and Eagles Aerie #231. Over the years, he bowled in many bowling leagues and tournaments.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie (Applegate) Mock, whom he married on June 3, 1967; his son Brian Mock of New York state; his daughter Laura Morton of Muncie; his step-son, Edward Armantrout (Bonita Ramirez) of Yorktown; his step-daughter Marjorie Reese (Elmer) of Muncie; and by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Charles Mock (Goldie) of Anderson and his sister-in-law, Pam Applegate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Steve, and an infant brother and sister.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams Street in Muncie.
