Mary J Ball passed on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, at IU Ball Hospital after a long illness.  She was born in Muncie, IN on November 6th,1933 at Ball Hospital.

She graduated from Central High School and attended nursing school to become an LPN.  She worked for many years at the Woodlands and Ball Hospital where she retired. Caring for others with kindness and compassion was what she did.  She was a light to all as a pastor's wife.  She enjoyed singing hymns, cooking, and loved ones. 

Survivors include Don Brooks (Brother), Three sons; Robert Ball, Randell Ball (Kathy), and Ronald Ball (Wife Carol) She was Nan to 3 Grandchildren Ryan Ball (Wife Jenifer), Rustin Ball (Wife Melissa), and Bonus Daughter Bridgette Parks (Husband Jerry). She had 9 great-grandchildren; Alyssa (Husband Sheldon), Abby, Hayden, Aubrey, Riley, Bella, Ciera, Loralye, and Dalton. As well as great-great-grandchildren and many other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband Garnett L. Ball, Parents Claude Brooks, Cora, and Sherman Stevens, her siblings Bill, Herb, and Barbera, and her youngest son Roger. 

A funeral will be held at Parson Mortuary on  Monday June 24th, 2024, from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm, burial will follow at Elm Ridge.
