Mary F. Grantham

Mary F. Grantham, 90, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on January 9, 2025, at Cardinal Care Strategies in Muncie. She was born on November 15, 1934, in Richmond, Indiana, to Edwin and Margarit (Haley) Herman.

Mary had a variety of interests, including puzzles, walking, and crafting. She had a deep love for children and was known for her traditional values and strong faith. Always full of energy, Mary had a lively personality and loved to speak her mind. She took great pride in being a housewife and caring for others. In addition, she enjoyed motorcycle rides and watching westerns.

Mary is survived by her sons, Lee Grantham (wife: Jane) and Roy Grantham, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, sisters; Jean Cash, Peggy Morgan, and Rita Langston, along with several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ira L. Grantham, her son Thurman Grantham, siblings; Dorothy Berry, Joan Horner, Louise Bragg, Johnny Herman, and Eddie Herman. 

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on January 25, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
