Max DeWayne Conwell (Little Max), 51, went to be with our Lord and savior on January 17, 2025, following an extended illness. He was born in Muncie, Indiana, on June 24, 1973, the son of Ella and Max Conwell.
Max had attended Muncie schools, and worked in the construction field as a roofer and maintenance worker. He had a strong love for his family and was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Left behind to cherish his memory, are his daughters, Tiphani Lambertsen (Mikie), and Brooklyn Conwell, grandson, Julius Silvers (Juju), mother, Ella Conwell, long-time companion, Brandi Bartlett, brothers, Michael and Robert Smithers, step-sister, Darlene Bills (Sissy), step-brother, John Allen Conwell, biological father, Gary Lancaster, half-brother Gary Lancaster Jr., and half-sister Jenifer Lancaster. In addition, he leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Max has gone to heaven, to be reunited with all of his family that has gone on before him, including his father, Max, and his grandparents, as well as many aunts and uncles.
Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center is handling his cremation, and the family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
