Michael Eugene Hill, 66, passed away on June 13, 2026, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Michael was born on October 11, 1959, in Muncie, to Tyree and Ella Mae (Waters) Hill.
Following graduation from Muncie Southside High School, he went to work at Burger Chef, and later for both Kmart north and south of Muncie. His final employment was with Walmart in Muncie, where he worked at both stores. Michael was an extremely hard worker, often working more than one job at a time, including delivering the Muncie newspaper.
He had a passion for wheeling and dealing and frequented flea markets in the area. Over the years, he collected various items such as sports cards, Hot Wheels, and coins. He was always on the lookout for a good deal. He also loved his beagle dogs, smoking cigarettes, and loving his family. He would call his friends and family multiple times a day, always making sure to tell his children how proud he was of them. The one thing his family will miss the most is his phone calls.
Michael is survived by his two children, Dusty Hill (Malarie) and Jessica Clifford (Joshua); his siblings, Sidney Hill (Theresa), Rick Hill, and Ronnie Hill (Anita). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Haley Clifford, Mason Clifford, Kenzlee Hill, and Kaytee Sorrell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two children, Cody Guinn and Heather Hill, a grandchild, Zander, and a sister, Connie James, and his constant K-9 companions, Shiloh, Buddy, Billie, and Lexus.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams, Muncie, Indiana, on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM to 1:00 on the day of the service. Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery south of Muncie.
The family has asked that friends and family dress casually and comfortably, as this is how Michael would have wanted.
