Michael Jay Zeigler

Michael Jay Zeigler, 68, went to his heavenly home early Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023, at the Woodlands Health Care Center following an extended illness.  He was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1955, the son of Alfred and Natalie Jane (Shelley) Zeigler.

Michael was drafted for the United States Army during the Vietnam War and later obtained his GED in 1976 from the State of Texas and later, married Cheryl (Craycraft) Zeigler on February 12, 2006, in Muncie.  Mr. Zeigler had worked for several places most recently for Keihin Air Con North in Muncie for approximately 5 years before his retirement in 2015.  He had attended the
Four Square Church and enjoyed music, especially in the 70’s and 80’s.  He was known to be a Disc Jockey of Rock & Roll.

Besides his wife of seventeen years, Cheryl, he is also survived by two daughters, Gwyn Agee (Brian), Reynoldsville, Ohio and Erika French (Sean), Muncie; one son, Brent Craycraft, Muncie; three grandchildren, Jailyn and Ashlyn Agee and Tristan French; father & mother-in-law, Allie and Juanita Craycraft; two brothers, Robert Zeigler (Marie), Churchtown, Pennsylvania and Garry Zeigler, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harold Zeigler a nephew David.

Cremation is being done with a private family gathering at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
