Millie Diann Dickison, 76, went to be with her Lord on Saturday September 4, 2021 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Soldier, Kentucky on November 21, 1945, the daughter of Frank Boyd Blankenship and Francis Clark.
Millie attended Soldier, Kentucky Schools. Ms. Dickison had become a homemaker and had briefly worked for Midwest Towel. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed doing crochet work and growing flowers. She treasured any opportunity she could spend with her family.
Survivors include her companion of forty two years, Gerald Wagner, Muncie; daughter, Annette Clarke (John), Muncie; two sons, Walter Dickison (Lori) , Muncie and Hugh Dickison (Toni), Parker City; two step- daughters, Jowanna (Corky) , Colorado and Jenny Meadows, Yorktown; four step- sons, Jerry Wagner, New Castle, Jimmy Wagner(Destiny), Daleville, Johnny Wagner (Joyce), Ohio and Jeff Wagner(Jennifer), Selma; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one sister, Darlene Blankenship, Ridgeville ; and Richard Blankenship (Vicki), Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Dickison; her parents; five siblings, Walter “Butch” Williams, Pat Greer, Bill Blankenship, Clarence Blankenship and Glenn Blankenship.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor James Oliver McCowan officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of services.
