Norma J. Jarnigan, 82, left this life Monday afternoon, July 29, 2024, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born on October 4, 1941 in Muncie the daughter of Millard Lee and Alma (Lancaster) Foster.
Norma attended Muncie Community Schools and later married the love of her life, Shirley Jarnigan and he has preceded her in death. Mrs. Jarnigan became a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, volunteered at Bingo halls, watched crime television shows and would go through three crossword puzzle book every two weeks.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Jarnigan, Muncie and Patty Jarnigan, Richmond; three grandchildren, Ty Jarnigan, Muncie, Tiffany Jarnigan (James), Selma and Chloe Davidson, Farmland; six great grandchildren, Brooke, Harmony, Daisy, Milo, Landon and Ahmelia; two Nieces and several cousins; a special friend, Kim Smith
Besides her husband of 60 years, Shirley, she was preceded in death by, one son, Robbie Davidson, her parents and two brothers, Jack Foster and Cecil Lee Foster.
Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date. Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
