Obituary
Norman Evans, 63, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 30, 2022, at the Brookside Haven Health Care Systems following an extended illness. He was born on March 11, 1959 in Muncie the son of Kenneth and Barbara (Combs) Evans.
Norman graduated from Southside High School in 1978 and later worked for Borg-Warner as a machine operator for 15 years prior to becoming disabled. He enjoyed walking, spending time with his family and fishing. In fact, he owned and operated the Norm’s Bait and Tackle Shop for few years.
Survivors include one daughter, Erica R. Hill (Jon), Selma; one son, Ryan W. Evans, Muncie; 4 Grandchildren; 2 sisters, LaDonna Hollowell (John) and Brenda Whittenburg (Danny), both of Muncie; 1 brother, Carl Evans, Muncie; former spouse, Shelly Evans, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother, Charles “Chuck” Evans; 2 nephews, Josh Whittenburg and Zack Hollowell.
Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Monday, April 4, 2022, 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
