Ofelia “Ope” Maria Jaimes (Alva) passed away on March 15, 2025. She was born in San Atonio, Texas, the daughter of John and Mary Alva.
Ofelia later moved to Ohio, where she grew up with her brothers and sisters. She was a hardworking woman, dedicating 30 years to Borg Warner Automotive before retiring. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She cared deeply and was the glue that held her family together. She will be remembered for her strength, humor, and love for hummingbirds, flowers, and collecting knick-knacks. Ofelia never wanted to be alone, and her greatest joy was being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her children, Eric, Chris, Riki, and Angel; her grandchildren; and her sisters, Beatrice Hacker and Alice Beal.
She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on. A private cremation will take place, with a Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1230 PM to 130 PM at the Kingdom Hall 4405 N. Walnut 47303
