Pamela (Burke) Carroll Obituary

Born June 15, 1953, to parents Richard and Alma Burke, Pamela (Burke) Carroll, 70, went to be with her Lord on December 5, 2023.  For the past three years, she bravely fought a brain tumor and other health problems.


Pamela was born in Somerset, Kentucky, and lived her early years in Springport, Indiana.  She graduated from Blue River Valley High School in 1971.  She later moved to Dalton, Georgia, returning to Muncie in 2003.


She was employed at the OVC Tent factory in Stearns, Kentucky, Queen Carpet in Georgia, and Lowes in Muncie.  She enjoyed helping rescue animals and was a member of Westside Baptist Church


Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of twenty-three years, Ike Carroll, son, Richard DeWayne Perry (Brandi), Bronston, Kentucky, granddaughter Abby Early (Justin), Bronston, Kentucky, grandson Chase Perry, Marine Corp Camp Pendleton, California, sisters Karen Waters (Carlos), Cowan, Indiana, and Joan Sexton (Don), New Castle, Indiana, and sister-in-law Clares Burke, Muncie, Indiana.  In addition, she is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her precious pup, Bandit.


She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Burke Jr., and former husband Barney Perry.


Services will be held at Westside Baptist Church, 3021 W, Cornbread Road, Muncie, Indiana, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at the Springport Woodlawn Cemetery in Springport, Indiana.  Reverend Larry Waters will officiate.
