Patricia E. (Kantz) Lindsay

Patricia E. Lindsay, 93, passed away on October 4, 2025, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital.  Patricia was born on July 8, 1932, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Shaw) Kantz. 

Following graduation from Muncie Central High School, Patricia met the love of her life, William Lindsay, and they were married for 42 years before his passing.  She became a homemaker, raising her children and being the best mother and wife imaginable.  She kept a spotless home and always had dinner ready for her husband, who often worked two jobs, no matter what time he got off work.

Patricia loved to spend time at the lakes with her family.  She enjoyed the company of her children and grandchildren.  They were her pride and joy.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Diane Humbert, a step-daughter, Jill Russell, and grandsons, Brandon Humbert (David Gallasso), Ryan Humbert (Samantha), and great-grandson, Luke Humbert.  In addition, she leaves behind a niece, Kati Kantz, and a great-nephew, Michael Dylan Thomas. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Helen, her husband, William, stepson, David Lindsay, a brother, William Kantz, and her son-in-law, Donald Humbert.

Funeral services will be held on October 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Tomlinson Cemetery.  Pastor Rodney Eiler will officiate.
