Patricia Ann Ring

On November 16, 2025, Patricia Ann Ring, 80, passed away at Signature Health Care of Muncie.  Patricia was born on July 10, 1945, the daughter of Roy and Florence (Holman) Ring, one of eleven children.

Patricia grew up in Muncie and graduated in the first graduation class of the then-new Muncie Southside High School.  Following graduation, she worked at Ball State University, where she later retired.

Patricia enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her family.  Patricia had one son, Travis Ring, whom she loved and adored.  She would do anything for her son and was a great mother to him.   She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Temple Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Travis Ring; two grandchildren, Brock and Maci Ring; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Westyn; a “brother,” William Ring; and her sister-in-law, Nell Ring.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Florence, brothers, George, Russell, Jimmy, William, and Ernest, as well as her sisters, Betty, Gracie, Juanita, Doris, and Frances.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  A graveside service will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.
