Pauline Smith, 73, left this life late Friday evening, December 8, 2023, at the Waters of Ft. Wayne, Indiana Health Care Center.  She was born on February 14, 1950, in Bell Farm, Kentucky the daughter of Chester and Betty (Hill) Bell.

Pauline graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1968 and later married the love of her life, Gary Smith on August 9, 1969, in Muncie and he survives.  Mrs. Smith worked for American National Bank as a Teller and Assistant Manager for approximately 25 years before her retirement in 2004.  She had been a member of the Bethel United Baptist Church.        

Besides her husband of 54 years, Gary, she is also survived by two sons, Joey Smith and Doug Smith (Kristine), both of Ft. Wayne; four grandchildren, Allison Jones (Jack), Alex Smith, Madeline Smith, and Lauren Smith, all of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Her Mother, Betty Bell, Ft. Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her father Chester Bell

Graveside services will be held at Tomlinson Cemetery on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 2:30 P.M.          with Pastor Andrew Phipps officiating.
