Peggy Fay Gilland

Peggy Fay Gilland, 86, of Muncie, IN, passed away on June 24, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 11, 1940, in Bell Farm, Kentucky, to Leonard (Gobie) and Hattie (Gregory) Hill.

Peggy spent her life as a homemaker and caring for her disabled daughter, Judy.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy and Belinda, one sister, Carrie Foster, and several nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John Gilland, her parents, Gobie and Hattie (Gregory) Hill, four brothers, Dennis, Leonard, Kenneth, and William (Buddy) Hill, and six sisters, Bernice Hansard, Vonda Crabtree, Barbara Miller, Clara Sanders, Betty Shipley, and Maxine Shipley.

There will be no services.
