Peletisala (Sala) Tiitii, 38, passed away Monday evening at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa on June 22, 1984, the son of Sonnafai Taupau Tiitiiatalaga and Ruta Eseta Tiitii.
Sala graduated from Tafuna High School in 2002. He has worked in warehousing for several years driving a forklift for Weaver Popcorn, 5-Star Manufacturing, and most recently for Magna Industries. He enjoyed sports like volleyball and football, spending time with his family and friends, and doing yard work.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Brown, two children, Elonnie Peltisala Tiitii and Christianera "Piu" Tiitii; one brother, Samuel Tiitii; several cousins, Malaeimi Tiitii, Benjamin Sasagi, Orepa Sasagi, David Sasagi; Lisa (Justin) Fuatavai, Eimi (Brandon) Fuatavai, Daniel Fuatavai, and Albert (Angie) Fuatavai; uncle and aunt, Iana (Donna) Fuatavai and Ruta Esesta Tiitii Sasagi; mother-in-law Joyce Brown; special friend, Mose Tanuvasa; and several special extended family members.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; Iokapeta Tiitii; two sisters, Eseta Tati Tiitii and Lusi Ina Tiitii.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Larry Waters officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. Cremation will follow.
