Rebecca Lee (Hite) Flowers, 64, passed away at IU Ball Memorial Hospital, with family members by her side, on January 22, 2024.  She was born in Huntington, WV, on December 26, 1959, the daughter of Charles and Peggy (Walters) Hite. 

Following graduation from high school, Rebecca worked for several years for Marsh Supermarkets, and was last employed in the Auditors office, for Delaware County, Indiana.  Rebecca was known for her beautiful smile and warm, friendly personality.  She was described by her husband as someone who always made everyone her friend.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brian Flowers, sons, Ryan Flowers (Nicole), and Daniel Flowers, parents Charles and Peggy Hite, brothers Charles “Chuck” Hite Jr, Larry Hite, and Chris Hite (Tina), as well as several other relatives and friends.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Bernie and Louis Shaffer, uncle, Alfred Hite, as well as mother-in law Verdella Flowers Hughes and brother-in law David “Herbie” Falls.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams St., Muncie, Indiana on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 12:30 PM until the time of the service Monday.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
