We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Parson Mortuary
Remington “Remi” Taylor Neal, age 26, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2022. She was born on August 22, 1995 to parents Jack and Tammy Neal.
Remi attended Muncie Central High School.
Remington had a gift for enjoying the simple things in life like long walks, balloons, playing with beads, and a good cup of coffee. She loved going on long drives, golf cart rides at Prairie Creek Reservoir, thunderstorms, spending time in nature, and being with her family. She was an excellent judge of character and as such was surrounded by only the best of people. Remi touched the lives of many. She drew out the very best in those lucky enough to know her. Remi’s sweet and loving nature taught us to be kind, compassionate, and patient. Over the course of her life Remington was blessed to work with wonderful teachers, health aids, and countless empathetic care team members.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother Suellen Zimmerman, grandfather Jack Neal (Carolyn), cousin Olivia Neal.
She is survived by the flowing: father and mother Jack and Tammy Neal, sister Brooke Long, brother-in-law Austin Long, nephew Everett Long, grandmother Gay Neal, grandfather Mark Zimmerman (Della), along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Sunday August 21, 2022, from 1:00 -3:00 PM at the Prairie Creek Reservoir North Shore Campground Pavilion. Family and friends are invited to enjoy some of her favorite foods, share memories, and tell their best Remi stories. We encourage you all to wear tie-dye. The celebration will conclude in truly Remington fashion. We will be honoring her life and memory with a release of balloons.
