Rhonda Sue Livingston, 71, entered her heavenly home she had longed for unexpectedly, in the early hours of Monday, March 30th, 2026, at home. She was born on September 18th, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to Forest and Rosie (Locke) Storms.

Rhonda was a loving mother, an avidly amazing decorator, and had the ability to light up the room with her unique, lovable personality. She went to Southside High School and graduated in 1970. Rhonda married the love of her life, David Livingston, and, together, during their 20-year marriage, they had 4 beautiful children. She was also a member of Legacy Church Full Gospel Temple. 

Rhonda loved to go shopping and browse through the aisles, knit amazing afghans, read books, watch shopping channels, play Mahjong and other puzzles, as well as listen to podcasts, especially near the end of her time here on Earth. 

Rhonda was known affectionately as "Grandma Happy" to her grandchildren, a nickname stemming from her dog, Happy. Rhonda held a deep love for her animals, especially her loyal dogs. She most cherished her time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much and always looked forward to seeing. Her ultimate goal in life was to be a mother and to love and support her children. She will be missed so dearly - but we are assured we will see her again, and this is but a change of address to her heavenly home.

Rhonda is survived by her mother, Rosie (Locke) Storms, her brothers Forest Lee Storms (Sandy), Timmie Joe Storms (Jeannie), and Stephen Storms. Her children: Kimberli Collins (Brad), Christopher Livingston, Michael Livingston (Kelly), and Elizabeth Swords (Gabriel). Rhonda is also survived by her 8 grandchildren: Brandon Burton, Kayla Burton, David Livingston, Katherine Livingston, Gunnar Collins, Hailey Dunn, Sydney Swords, and Levi Swords; 4 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Eli, Jolene, and Saylor, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she also loved very deeply.

She was preceded in death by her father, Forest L. Storms.

Rhonda was a very unique, loving, and kind individual, but in her own words, she cherished the thought that she would be with Jesus forever and ever. No longer a thought, but a reality, and she is in heaven this very moment with the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026, at Legacy Church Full Gospel Temple, 212 W 7th St, Muncie, IN.  Pastor John P. Helton will officiate the service.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of the service.
