Richard Earl Hargrave

Memorial services celebrating the life of Richard Earl Hargrave, Sr. will be Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00pm at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center 801 West Adams Street Muncie, Indiana.  Officiating will be Bro. Tab Greenlee, and Bro. Mark Dill. Cremation will follow after the service, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Linda Hargrave, two sons, Richard Hargrave, Jr, wife Tammy, John Hargrave and wife Laura, brother, Clarence Hargrave, brother, William Hargrave, sister, Barbara Hargrave, 5 grandchildren, Mitchell Hargrave, Marshall Hargrave, Michael Hargrave, Luke Hargrave, Benjamin Hargrave, two step grandchildren, Ashley Evans, and Coleman Evans along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Hargrave, mother, Charlotte Cavender Hargrave, three brothers, Russell Hargrave, Herman Hargrave, Robert Hargrave, four sisters, Caroline Hargrave, Pauline Hargrave, Ginny Hargrave, and Candy Hargrave.

Richard was born in Indianapolis on Thursday, May 9, 1946 and passed away from this life on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 74, at his residence in Muncie, Indiana. He graduated from Manual High School, and worked at B&B Tool and Die and Artisan Tool and Die for many years. He loved hunting, and fishing and enjoying the outdoors was what he loved to do along with playing golf. Playing games was one of his favorite things to do. He like playing the card game Euchre and playing Monopoly. While playing the Monopoly he had to always be the banker to control the money. He always enjoyed watching and cheering on IU and the Colts. Family was very important to him he loved them dearly.  He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Indianapolis, and Muncie, along with the Eagles Club in Muncie. He will be deeply missed by all
