Robbie Lynn Hyatt Obituary

Robbie Lynn Hyatt, born to Cynthia and William D. Hyatt of Farmland, Indiana, on May 1, 1955, an honored veteran, beloved father, and dedicated lifelong worker, passed away on November 22, 2025. A quiet, loyal, and steadfast man, Robbie lived his life with dignity, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the values he held dear.

Robbie proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, graduating first in his class and earning the deep respect of his fellow servicemen. His intelligence and determination continued into civilian life, where he built a long and accomplished career with Chrysler, retiring as a robotics engineer. Robbie believed in hard work, responsibility, and paying for what he needed—never on credit, always with integrity.

Robbie shared many years of his life with Janine Hyatt, who preceded him in death on December 13, 2021, at the age of 59. Her passing marked a significant chapter in his later life, but Robbie’s roots and loyalty always remained with her.

Though a man of few words, Robbie was deeply devoted in his own quiet way. He shared a lifelong bond with his brother, Byron Hyatt of Farmland, Indiana, who was not only his sibling but his closest friend.

Robbie is survived by his children, Robbie David Hyatt (44) and Carmen Rivera Long (48), who carry forward his resilience, intelligence, and strength of character.

He will be remembered for his integrity, his steadfast independence, and his sharp mind. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the family who loved him.

Robbie will be cremated with no services.
