Robert Lee Dodd, 82, passed away on January 3, 2025 at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.  Robert was born April 1, 1942, the son of Frederick and Iva (Knight) Dodd.

Robert graduated from Selma High School, in Selma, Indiana and went on to become a truck driver, eventually retiring from Schneider Transportation.  He later worked at Hi Way 3 Hardware during his “retirement” years. 

Robert had an absolute passion for golf.  He would spend time on the golf course honing his skills, and often brought along his kids and family to play.  In addition to golf, Robert loved playing catch with a baseball.  Robert was a member of Selma Christ Church, and faithfully attended, along with his wife, Karen.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Karen Dodd; sons, David Dodd (Teresa), Tom Vore, John Dodd (Pamela), and Mark Dodd (Hallie); daughters, Krystal Kolodchak (Scott), and Barbara Ann Dodd; step-sons, Vaughn Weber (Cindy), and John Weber; and step-daughter, Melinda Pierce (Jim), siblings, Shirley Liggett (Jerry), Sandy Scott (Don), Margie Martin (Paul), and Dean Dodd (Teresa).  In addition, he is survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert Dodd Jr., and siblings, Chuck Dodd, and Sharon Druckemiller.

Services will be held at Selma Christ Church, 9805 E. Jackson Street, Selma, Indiana, on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 at 12:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 1030 AM to 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Gardens Of Memory, north of Muncie.
