Rodney Ridge Obituary

Rodney Farrel Ridge “Rockin Rod”, 68, Muncie, passed away Tuesday evening, January 5, 2021. He was born May 19, 1952 in Muncie, Indiana the son of the late Lester and Ethel (White) Ridge.

Rodney was a graduate of Muncie South Side High School and retired from Borg Warner. He also worked with his father at R&W Auction for many years, as well as working on the railroad and several local factories. Besides working Rodney loved to fish and especially enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends.

He is survived by a son, Rodney R. Ridge; daughter, Christina Banter; two sisters, Janie Gunter and Della Cross, (husband-Donald); two brothers, Wilbur Ridge and Mike Ridge, (wife-Sharon); five grandchildren, Tara, Payton, Lexie, Lauren, and Olivia; and one great-granddaughter, Tinsley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ethel Ridge.

Cremation will take place at Parson Mortuary Cremation Center.
