Ronda Johnson, 64, passed away at her home in Losantville, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family on September 4, 2025.  She was born in Muncie, Indiana, on February 27, 1961, the daughter of Dale Workman Sr. and Sharon (Harper) Thornburg.  She was later raised by her mother and her second father, Danny Thornburg.

Ronda was a 1979 graduate of Muncie Southside High School.  Following high school, she married the love of her life, Randy Johnson, on July 2, 1981.  Over her life, she had worked several different jobs over the years.  However, the one job that she was most proud of was that of being a wife, mother, and a gammy to her family.  Together, they raised two children and were blessed with three grandchildren.

Ronda leaves behind her husband of forty-four years, Randy Johnson, her children, Michael Johnson and Brandon Johnson (Rebeca), grandchildren, Brady and Mason Johnson, siblings, Dale Jr., Colby, Debbie, Brandy, Missy, Molly, Linda, and Kim.  In addition, she is survived by an abundance of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Violet Johnson, her parents, Dale Workman Sr. and Sharon Thornburg, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and her uncle, Ed Harper.

Funeral services will be on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, at 2:00 PM.  Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  A private burial will follow.
